Holiday fun

Our Thanksgiving and Christmas seems to have floated into each other.  We kept busy with school functions and some of our holiday traditions.  We experienced a few firsts as well.  The kids got to see the lights of Vegas as we enjoyed a little family getaway.  We had a wonderful Christmas, we have so much to be thankful for!  We are looking forward to what adventures are in store for us in 2017.

Jack's Thanksgiving feast at school was very fancy.

Ellie lost her 1st tooth Thanksgiving day!

Getting in the Christmas spirit

I had some big helpers this season!

They loved finding all their ornaments.

The bottom of the tree was nice and heavy with ornaments.

 Gingerbread houses

I love seeing how they improve through the years

That leftover Halloween candy came in handy with our houses.

The School Christmas Program

Gingerbread boy bakers!

I love having little helpers to bake with.

Graham cracker trains too!

Once we used up all the train supplies the kids found making
monsters was equally fun!

Family Trip to Vegas

Our first family putt putt outing.

What a fun course for the kids even though we aren't
exactly KISS fans.

They have some promising putt putt skills.

The Holiday Express

We've boarded the train!

We weren't expecting the chilly Vegas day, but it was fitting!

Excited to go see Santa!

First our reindeer food craft.

Then we heard a story and sang some songs before visiting the big guy!
It was such a cool experience visiting Santa's cottage.

Jack got a little shy before telling Santa he wanted
 a green scooter.

Ellie informed Santa she wanted the Banana Shopkin.

They even got sprinkled with snow!

Christmas time

We have a tradition of letting the kids open
one present Christmas Eve.

Jack was VERY happy with his choice!

All ready for Christmas Eve Mass.

Christmas morning wishes came true!

Santa came through!

Ellie and Jack wanted to get each other gifts this year.

Ellie loved her gift from Jack!

She actually sleeps with these masks on, it cracks me up!
