Our month of December

December sure seemed to fly by.  We kept busy with all the typical Christmas traditions, Ellie's dance recital and made a trip to the mountains to play in the snow.

Graham Cracker Houses

Jack ordered a tall house.

Ellie wanted a small house.

Clovis Children's Electric Christmas Parade

Ellie had a good view from standing on Jayson' s lap.

Ellie's Christmas Program

She had been practicing all week so she would sound the best.

It was perfect she was on the end because she was dancing her little heart out.

We were so proud of our little performer!

Working on an ornament for the tree

Cloves in an apple sure smell good!

Christmas Lights with friends

There is a neighborhood with quite the display of lights and this
year we rode through with a group of friends hayrack style.

It was a blast!

So much better than driving through, and much safer than walking.

Ellie's Dance Recital

Ellie danced to "Where are you Christmas."

Grandma Debbie was excited to be in town for the recital!

Our little dancer was great!!

This would be her thinking pose from her dance.

Snow Day

The kiddo's asked to play in the snow so we made it happen.

All this little guy wanted to do was throw snow balls.

But Ellie was all about the sledding.

Time to build a snowman!

Now time for the accessories. we remembered this year!

Ellie loved her Frosty!

Visiting Santa

Ready for Christmas Eve Mass.

Christmas Morning

Jack was excited about the sidewalk chalk Santa left.
A scooter for Ellie and a goal for Jack!

They plowed through their gifts pretty fast!

Lots of smiles!

It was a good Christmas!
Something that warmed Jayson and our hearts at church Christmas Eve was hearing the kids singing along to the music and most of all seeing Ellie doing the sign language to Silent night. She had learned it for her school program but it was so beautiful to see her doing it at church in the sweetest voice.  That's all it takes sometimes to make any disturbances they may have caused during church vanish!
