Thanksgiving adventure

We were able to check a few things off our California bucket list after this past week.  We made the trek up north to Washington and drove through Oregon.  Oregon was a state Jayson and I both were anxious to see and it did not disappoint.  We had a great Thanksgiving spend with family friends in Issaquah, WA and before making the drive back home we took in a few of the sights in Seattle.  Although the drive was long the kiddos did great and we only had a few minor meltdowns.  Nothing a little candy couldn't fix.
Jack enjoyed his Thanksgiving feast party!

November Field trip to Children's Museum of the Sierra

This was such a cute little mountain town museum.

Living the dream of driving a firetruck.

This air machine that made the beach balls float was his favorite.
He and one of his buddies just couldn't get enough!

Sundial Bridge in Redding, CA

This was our get out and stretch stop after being in the car for 5 hours.

Issaquah, Washington

A little cold doesn't keep this one from wearing shorts.

Snoqualmie falls

A few of my favorite girls!

You can somewhat see the waterfall in this picture,

Seattle

Once Ellie spotted The Seattle Great Wheel, we had to go on it.

It was definitely a cool way to see the city.

We made a stop at Pike Place Market.

Ellie was really curious about these fish.

I just missed a picture opportunity where the kids and
Jayson got scared by the fish moving.

Decorating the tree

That bottom half sure looked good, but I had to even it out.

My little helpers were more than ready to decorate!

Our Halloween!

We had a fantastic Halloween! Jack did a costume change on us but thankfully we had more superheroes costumes on hand.  He told everyone leading up to Halloween he was going to be Batman and then right as we are getting ready to head out the door to his preschool Halloween party he decided it felt too stiff.  So Batman turned into Spiderman!  Ellie was so excited to break out her Elsa costume.  She stayed in character as we were trick or treating singing "Let it Go."  We had a great time Halloween night getting all dressed up for a party and having the kids trick or treating with friends.

Pumpkin Carving

The kiddos were super excited to dig into their pumpkins.

The Halloween music got him going, he was singing and breaking
out the dance moves!

After a couple of pokes she was done.

Ellie was happy with her starry pumpkin!

I helped carve up Jack's pick.

Ellie's, Jayson's and Jack&mine.

Halloween Day

Digging into a little candy corn inspired snack.

Jack only ate the whip cream and Ellie finished off both their fruit.

Finding a way to pass the time.

All dressed up and ready for the party!

Time to trick or treat!

The kids were cracking me up on Halloween day, they had their costumes on and it wasn't quite time for us to leave so Ellie suggested they play trick or treat.  So they were wandering around the house with their buckets saying, "Trick or Treat, oh thank you!
