Healthy and Happy!

I can't believe we have been California residents for 3 weeks now.  This post may not be as exciting as we didn't get out and do anything extravagant this weekend.   Instead we tended to a few things around the house.  We finally have the guest room ready for guests and Jayson completed the task of hanging a ceiling fan in our living room. We were very excited about our productive activities!  We found a church we liked and I decided on a preschool for Ellie next fall.  We're feeling pretty good about how our week went!

I kept the kiddos busy with some homemade snow.  This was such a hit with them we played with it all week long.

We've made moon sand before but this
was so much better!  It was super soft
and actually felt cold to the touch.

My little cleaner uppers! They love to sweep.  If only it was actually helpful indoors!

Ellie has been playing dress up quite a bit lately so Jack wanted in on the fun.

We've definitely got our routine down for the day now with Ellie's "preschool" activities which I was afraid she would try to dodge. She surely misses going to preschool and seeing her friends.  She is definitely a social butterfly and has no trouble introducing herself to "friends" at the park.  Jack is typically right at her heals chattering away. They are such a funny little duo.

We were working on some shaving cream art.  I forgot to get a picture of the finished product which was a marble affect.  We are getting prepped for having some fun paper for making Valentine's.

To celebrate the good news we got from the doctor the kiddos were flu free we celebrated with a glow in the dark bath time!

First on the list of things to do once we got the news the kiddos were flu free was to check out story time at the library.  This outing was just as exciting for me as I was more than ready to be around some other adults.  The kiddos had a blast and the woman sitting next to me let me know about a mom's group, so it was a successful outing for us all!  I look forward to having some fun outing pictures for you next week once we pick our next weekend destination!
