More Birthday fun and travels!

Jack's Birthday was a success!  We celebrated superhero style as Batman was his theme choice.  He was super excited about his decorated room and picking out his birthday balloon the day of his birthday.  It was the sweetest thing to hear him say "Thank you for my Birthday Mom," once we left Party City.  It's the little things in life for this sweet little man.  We had a great turn out for his party and he was one happy birthday boy! Once we got the birthdays behind us we were ready for some visitors!  We had a lot of fun showing the Krolikowski's around... and exploring a new territory heading to San Francisco.  We did a lot of walking and also road all sorts of transportation.  The kids had a blast!

Ice cream cake for the day of.

Party day cupcakes!

Batman cookies, lolipops and masks for his friends to take home.

Free batman from the frozen dome!

Jack was really sad the next morning to find his bounce house gone.

I think they jumped more before and after the party than they did during.

All dressed up for our neighbor's wedding reception.

Project Survival Cat Haven

We took a little field trip with friends.  I thought it was really interesting to hear about all the different wild cats but the kiddos were having more fun playing in the dirt. A lot of these cats were in the entertainment industry so they were really playful with the tour guides which was cool to watch.  Then there were a few that just looked like they wanted to escape through their cage and attack the children.  So a little on the scary side too.

We got to hear all about the differences between jaguars and leopards.

Jack was pretty enthralled with the lion.

 River wading and rock throwing...

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk...

San Francisco...

Our first stop was the Lombard crooked street.

We stopped by Pier 39 and found a boat ride to take.

Waving at the sea lions.

Ellie showing off the freighter ship.

Cold, unhappy kids on the Golden Gate bridge.

Finishing our San Francisco fun at the Golden Gate bridge.

The pictures we didn't get in were... our ride on the Streetcar which the kids were big fans of, and Fisherman's Wharf.  We covered a lot of ground in one day and were wiped out by the end of the day.  San Francisco is such a neat city, walking around and taking in all the amazing architecture was one of my favorite parts.  Ellie had her leap pad with her ready to take pictures and she was choosing to do it of doors.  However, I don't blame her, the entries to the homes we would pass were incredible.
