Our month of December

December sure seemed to fly by.  We kept busy with all the typical Christmas traditions, Ellie's dance recital and made a trip to the mountains to play in the snow.

Graham Cracker Houses

Jack ordered a tall house.

There is a neighborhood with quite the display of lights and this
year we rode through with a group of friends hayrack style. 

It was a blast!

So much better than driving through, and much safer than walking.

Ellie's Dance Recital

The kiddo's asked to play in the snow so we made it happen.

All this little guy wanted to do was throw snow balls.

But Ellie was all about the sledding.

It was a good Christmas!

 Something that warmed Jayson and our hearts at church Christmas Eve was hearing the kids singing along to the music and most of all seeing Ellie doing the sign language to Silent night. She had learned it for her school program but it was so beautiful to see her doing it at church in the sweetest voice.  That's all it takes sometimes to make any disturbances they may have caused during church vanish!
