Our visit to Santa Rosa!

We had lots of new adventures this week trying out the brand new mom's group with our church and a gymnastic class for Ellie.  Gymnastics went over much better than soccer.  Ellie was very excited to have her last soccer match.  She was thrilled to receive her gold medal but has no desire to participate in anymore soccer.  Our favorite time spend here in California so far occurred this weekend when we went to spend St. Patrick's Day with the Bisbee's that live in Santa Rosa.  We had such a great time getting together with Aunts, Uncles and cousins. The time spent there went by way too fast!  We look forward to the next time we can get together again.

I found Jack working on puzzles in his room on his own. So cute!

We made some shamrocks with corks.  Ellie got the hang of it, but Jack decided it was more fun to take them apart and just paint with his hands.  Our next activity involved Ellie's request to go camping. We pulled her pop up tent outside and they decorated it with stickers.

Our next shamrock activity was finger print shamrocks.

And our last one was glittery shamrocks.

Jack found his lost Husker hat and was so
happy to have it back he slept with it on!

Our weekend getaway...

We had a picnic lunch and played in the sand at Salmon Creek Beach.

Jack loved playing in this little puddle the kids found and throwing rocks in.

Our next stop was Trione winery for some delicious wine!

On St. Patrick's Day we visited the Children's Museum.

Painting in Ella's Art Studio was a big hit!

We couldn't keep Jack away from these water spouting rocks,
he loved them and was just drenched!

Once Jack finished playing in the water he was running around like a
wild little man over the bridges.

And just when we thought he had enough he went back for some more.

The shirt had to come off.

We really enjoyed our time spent with our CA Bisbee family members.  They made us feel so welcome and we loved getting to know them all better. After such a wonderful weekend Jayson and I couldn't help but say we were thankful his work brought us out to California.  Being here has brought our family together in a way we had never expected and we are very thankful for the amazing family we have!
